Course Description

For C2/C1/B2+ levels and higher. Up to 8 participants per group. ENROLLING NOW! Pay as you go sessions. British history and lively conversation - a great mix, and perfect for improving English fluency. The Roman times and earlier, Viking invasions, the Norman conquest, medieval Britain, the Tudors, Elizabeth I, the Civil War, Victorian times, and much much more. We'll discuss key events and themes from each era, and ideas which shaped the nature and identity of Britain. Up to 10 participants per group. Sessions are on Wednesdays, starting at 14.45 current UK time. Payment for each 60 minute session must reach us at least 48 hours before the scheduled start of class. There are a total of 12 sessions in the module.
